Who Is Ian Hutchinson?

Ian is founder and Chief Engagement Officer of Life by Design, specialists in employee engagement, self-leadership & work life balance.

Ian has a Bachelor of Business Degree in management and marketing, and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (but as he says, please don’t hold that against him) and has studied internationally in career development.  Ian’s work has been profiled on national TV programs such as Reality Bites (ABC), Today Tonight (Channel 7) and The Today Show (Channel 9) and even international print media such as The New York Times.

He is author of “People Glue”, “52 Strategies to Work Life Balance” and creator of “meCentral.com”, a world first employee engagement system (now licensed in 5 countries) that helps individual’s fast track success in their goals, career, finances and work life balance.

Presentation Style

He is a natural entertainer (with a background in theatresports), so his presentation style is dynamic, highly interactive but with a fun cheeky streak.  He is motivational, extremely relevant and down-to-earth with real "take home" value.

Lifestyle

Ian lives with his partner Megan and daughter Sierra overlooking the ocean in the Northern Beaches of Sydney (Australia), and really “walks the talk” as he has 12 weeks holiday a year and lives by the philosophy of having a fun youthful attitude, keeping things simple and above all remembering that life is for living.
